Dr Nhat (Nick) Pham and Dr Minh Son Pham (Imperial College London) were invited to present about novel developments in Edge-AI and Additive Material Printing. The workshop was hosted and sponsored by the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group, together with the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Vietnamese Embassy in London.
Dr Pham chairs the panel discussion on "Digitalisation of healthcare" at IEEE SmartComp 2025. The Panellists include Prof. Giancarlo Fortino, University of Calabria, Italy; Prof. Richard Greene, University College Cork, Ireland; Dr. Mark O'Sullivan, NeuroBell; and Assoc Prof Akane Sano, Rice University, USA.
During the trip, Dr Pham was invited to visit Trinity College Dublin. Dr Viet Pham hosted the visit.
Kha presents his poster at the Royal Society Scientific meeting on Cyborg Futures about his work on employing the human body as a medium to power wearables and implantables with harvested energy.
Dr Pham and Dr Perrera attended the Cardiff-Asan Medical Centre Networking Workshop 2025 in Seoul. The workshop brings together scientists and clinicians at Asan Medical Centre, KAIST, Yonsei University, UNIST, and the Korean National Cancer Centre.
Loic presented our work on adaptive edge-based vehicular intrusion detection systems at MobiUK 2025 in Edinburgh.
Loic presented his dissertation study "Design a tiny machine learning model to detect epileptic seizures on wearables" at MobiUK 2024 in Southampton.
Catherine and Loic presented our work on "Stress-GPT" involving an EEG-based foundation model fine-tuned on stress data.
